Jason has been training on and off for past 10 years (getting married and having a kid took me off course slightly) and has a 165kg (362lbs) squat and 405lbs deadlift. As a family man Jason loves to spend time with his 3 year old daughter and beautiful wife.
Jason was born in sunny Cape Town, South Africa, the most beautiful city in the world and trains at arguably the best fitness facility in the southern hemisphere.
Jason is also a huge fan of the mighty Springboks (South African Rugby Team), the best rugby team in the world!
The reason for starting this site is because of all the bullshit on the internet and in muscle and fitness magazines. The reason why most people don’t get the results that they want is because of all the misinformation out there. They take the information from the biggest guy at gym (who’s probably on steroids), the muscle magazines (some shitty routine with no proven results) and buy a cupboard of useless supplements that don’t work.
At strengthandmuscle.net we will provide useful information for the beginner and intermediate trainee, whether your goals is to build slabs of muscle, get strong or just get fit, we commit to helping you get to your goals.
What the F@#$ do I know?
Firstly I among the few people that train and who actually get results. No, I don’t have fancy CSCS’s or a Degree in Kinesiology, but rather 1st hand experience in training and getting results. I also successfully coach an under privileged cricket team in one of the most dangerous, gang ridden places on the planet to achieve great results. Not for the faint hearted, I tell you (I’ve literally dodged bullets several times). Many of these kids would otherwise end up as gangsters, drug addicts, alcoholics or in prison. My mission is to share with you what I’ve learnt so that you can achieve your training goals much easier.
